Ok I have ahd NF about 2months now and cannot get figure out how to get an assassin in NF! Do I have to port my factions sin in? Or can I create 1 in NF?

You cannot create assassin nor ritualist on NF, you have to travel to elona, through a mission on Kaineng, some of the npc's on there will give it to you.

If you have Nightfall and Factions on the same account, take your assassin to Kaineng Centre and talk to Guardsman Linro.

ok got ya, Another question, I keep seeing builds from NF with assassin as a secondary, how are they accompishing this?

Once they complete enough sunspear quests for the command post, they can switch their secondary profession.
Your assassin would have the ability to also switch his secondary to dervish or paragon if you become Weh no Su.
You can then go to Temple of Balthazar and learn Dervish and Paragon.

OK, but how do they get the sin as a secondary? Not a sin with dervish or Paragon secondary.

because its simple.

Prophecies gave you access to the primary (or core) professions which you can only change your secondary too while on that continent.

factions released the assassin and ritualist as well as the core professions which means while in cantha you can change your secondary to any of the core professions AND the 2 new ones.

Nightfall released with the same core professions, dropped the assassin and rit or the dervish and paragon. which means you can switch your secondary to any of those professions.

there is 2 ways to switch a secondary. 1: would be go to the continent where the profession you seek it trained (core professions are in all continents but the assassin/rit are in cantha only and the derv/para are in elona only). 2:would be go to the battle isles and at the great temple of balthazaar you speak to the secondary profession guy and pay him 500g to learn a new secondary....after which you can change between the new one and old one at any time....it is recommended that you purchase all the secondaries to give yourself a bit of variety but its ultimately up to you.

as a side note: you can only change your secondary profession under the following cirumstances.

you have become ascended (prophecies mission)

you have become "weh no su" (factions mission)

you have finished the "hunted" quest i beleive it is (nightfall quest)

the last way is if you make a pvp only character they have access to all professions that you have available on your account and all skills unlocked.
